No persons shall use the pool unless it is officially open with lifeguards on duty. Unauthorized use of the facility will constitute a trespass and all violators will be subject to prosecution.
Pool users are required to present a valid membership card. Guests must be accompanied by a member and present a valid Guest Pass. Members must remain at the pool while hosting a guest.
Members are responsible for the behavior of their children and guests.
Children two years and younger are free and do not require a membership card or a guest pass for admittance to aquatic facilities.
Households are limited to 6 guests per household unless written authorization is obtained from the LRRPA office.
Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a person 16 years of age or older. Children between 12 and 14 years of age must pass a swim test annually to be admitted without supervision. (Swim test candidates must swim non-stop for 50 yards using the crawl stroke, and tread water for 1 minute.)
The wading pools are for the use of children 5 years of age and younger. Children must be directly supervised by a person 16 years of age or older. Small plastic toys may be used in the wading pool. LRPRA staff and or Pool Managers will determine if toys are appropriate for wade pool use.
Children wearing diapers or training pants must wear disposable swim diapers or “rubber pants”.
Nerf balls and diving devices are permitted in the main pool under adult supervision. LRPRA staff and or Pool Managers will determine if items are appropriate for main pool use.
Coast guard approved life jackets are permitted at the pools. No “water wings”, rings or inflatable flotation devices are allowed.
Pools may close due to inclement weather, vandalism or for sanitary reasons. All reasonable measures will be taken to reopen the pools as quickly as possible.
Diving is only permitted in designated areas and posted diving rules are to be followed. Children who pass the annual swim test may use the diving board.
Divers are limited to one bounce on the diving board, and must swim directly out of the dive area. Divers must wait for a swimmer to reach the ladder before beginning a dive.
A 15-minute break is scheduled every hour to allow children a rest period and to provide time for adult swim. Adults may instruct children one on one in the shallow area of the pool during breaks. The diving board and dive area is closed to children during the break.
Use of the Edgewood Spa and Sauna is restricted to adults 18 years of age and older. Persons with medical conditions should consult their physician prior to using the spa and sauna. (Note: prolonged use of the spa and sauna can cause health problems. Please limit your usage and take frequent breaks.) Swimming is not permitted in the spa.
Proper swim attire appropriate for a family environment is required in order to enter the pool facilities unless written permission is obtained from the LRPRA office. Clothing that is not permitted includes but is not limited to, denim shorts, cutoffs, jeans, long or loose shirts, see through swimwear, and thong swimwear.
Smoking for adults over 18 years of age is only permitted in the designated smoking area.
Profane language is not permitted and will result in the patrons removal from the pool.
Unsafe play, disruptive behavior, or behavior that endangers the safety of others is not permitted, and will result in removal from the pool area.
Firearms, illegal drugs, and alcohol are not permitted at the pools. Violators will be subject to prosecution.
Loitering is not permitted in or around the aquatic facilities.
Pool Mangers may restrict or deny entry to the pool when overcrowding is a concern.
Failure to comply with Pool Rules and or lifeguard instruction may result in removal from the pool, suspension, or loss of pool privileges.
Spray Ground Rules:
The following rules have been established to ensure that the use of the spray ground is safe and enjoyable for all. The spray ground facilities and users of these facilities will abide by all county health and safety regulations. Please report any injuries to the spray ground attendant immediately.
Use is restricted to persons 12 years of age and under.
Users are required to present a valid membership card. Guests must be accompanied by a member and must present a guest pass. Passes are available at the Spray-n-Play or LRPRA office.
Children two years and younger do not require a Guest Pass or membership card for admittance.
No more than 6 guests per household per day may be admitted to the spray ground without written authorization form LRPRA.
Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a person 16 years of age or older.

No toys will be admitted into the spray ground.
A child wearing diapers or training pants must wear rubber pants when inside the spray ground area.
Food, beverages, gum, glass containers and animals are not permitted inside the spray ground fence.

removal from the pool area.

Rule Enforcement:
The following disciplinary procedures apply to minors (patrons under the age of 18.)
a. 1st Incident: Verbal instruction will be given regarding pool rules.
b. 2nd Incident: Patron must leave the premises, and the pool pass will be held until a parent or guardian contacts LRPRA office regarding the incident.
c. 3rd Incident: Pool pass will be held and a special pass will be issued requiring an adult parent or guardian to accompany and to supervise the minor at all aquatic facilities for the remainder of the pool season.
d. 4th Incident: Pool Pass may be suspended.
The following disciplinary procedures apply to adult members 18 years of age or older.
a. 1st Incident: Verbal instruction will be given regarding pool rules.
b. 2nd Incident: Patron must leave the premises, and the pool pass will be held until the LRPRA office is contacted. (Failure to relinquish the pool pass will be considered a 3rd incident)
c. 3rd Incident: Pool pass may be suspended
The following disciplinary procedures apply to guests and hosting members.
a. 1st Incident: Verbal instruction will be given regarding pool rules.
b. 2nd Incident: Guest and the host member will be ejected from the pool and the guest pass will be voided. Any guest removed from an LRRPA pool will be not be readmitted to any LRPRA pool for the remainder of the pool season.
Persons refusing to leave the premises when asked to do so by a lifeguard, LRPRA staff member, or an enforcement officer, will be Trespassing and are subject to prosecution. |
