The Association's recreational amenities are a standout in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area and include:  5 pools, a sprayground, 2 community centers, the Hooes Run Boat Ramp, tennis courts, sports fields (to include a soccer field and ball field), tot lots, and basketball pads.  Our amenities and recreational staff allow us to offer unprecedented programs for residents of all ages and interests.  Use of the amenities is an important benefit of LRPRA membership. In order to request membership cards, the  membership application, accompanied with proof of residency, must be submitted to the Recreation Department.

Aquatics
The pools are a hub of activity each summer! The Recreation Department offers swimming classes and programs for residents of all ages and swimming ability. Pool Hours, Classes and Special Events

Preschool
Do you have a preschool age child?  If so, consider our Lake Ridge Creative Preschool. This program has been going strong for over ten years and currently has over 70 children in the program.

Summer Camp
How about Summer Camp?  We have camps sessions throughout the entire summer for children ages 6 through 12.  Activities include:  pool time, local field trips, arts and crafts, and games.

Clubs, Classes & Sports Leagues
Are you interested in finding a group of residents who have your same interests?  Try one of our many clubs, classes or sports leagues.  We have something for residents of all ages and interests:  Book Club, Youth Soccer,  Moms Club, Ridgerunners, to name a few. There's something for everyone!
