Carnival themed contests and a Moon Bounce add to the festivities as we celebrate the arrival of fall. Activities include the Children’s Costume Contest and Parade at 11A.M., a mouse hunt followed by a Build a Scarecrow event at 1P.M. (bring your own clothes and accessories) and a Carved Jack-O-Lanterns judging at 1:30P.M. (all Jack-O-Lanterns must be pre-carved). Come check out vendors’ wares from across the region that will fill the lot with great bargains, one of a kind collectibles and original arts and crafts designs. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for Fall Festival on October 25
The LRPRA recreation department is looking for volunteers to assist us with our annual Fall Festival which will be held on Saturday, October 25. Volunteers are needed to help us set up, take down and to operate games. Anyone interested in helping out at this event should contact Shirley at 703.491.2154 x114. The Fall Festival is Saturday, October 25 from 10A.M. -2P.M. Set-up begins at 8A.M.
VENDERS NEEDED for Fall Festival on October 25
Attention crafters and home businesses - vendors are needed for our annual Fall Festival. Two to three hundred people attend this popular event each year. The spaces available are the size of a parking space and rent for $20 for Lake Ridge members and $25 for non-members. Spaces are limited so register early.
