Lake Ridge offers a wide variety of classes and clubs for members to enjoy. Come get to know neighbors in the community, start a new hobby, learn a new skill or all of the above!
Interested in Starting a New Group?
Submit a New Club/Class Request with your group’s information to the Recreation Director for review and approval. Group must be open to members of the Association to join. Pricing is a set rate per meeting.

Prince William Art Society
Date & Time: 4th Monday monthly, 7:30pm (No Meeting in January, July, August & December)
Description: PWAS was formed in 1971 with the purpose of promoting the appreciation of visual art and fine crafts, gaining recognition and publicity for the work of local artist, and providing a variety of educational art programs and fine art exhibits to the Prince William community. Meetings are always free and open to the public.

"Cover to Cover" Book Club (Full)
Date & Time: 3rd Tuesday monthly, 7:00pm
Description: Started in February 2016, "Cover to Cover" is going strong. Club members enjoy discussing a mix of fiction and non-fiction books. They sponsored the first Little Free Library in the community, and hope to see this flourish as members of the community exchange books. See their 2019 Book Selections.

Lake Ridge Bridge Club
Date & Time: 1st and 3rd Fridays monthly, 7:30pm | 5th Friday monthly, 1:00pm
Description: A trick-taking card game played by four players in two competing partnerships, with partners sitting opposite each other around a table. A game of memory and probability, Bridge is a great game to engage in to get to know others in the community.

Bunco Babes
Date & Time: 3rd Mondays monthly, 7:00pm
Description: No experience is needed to enjoy this fun, fast paced and easy to learn dice game. The cost to play is $10 for the evening and includes all supplies needed to play plus beverages. Perfect for socializing with friends and meeting new people!

Lake Ridge Chorale
Date & Time: Tuesdays, 7:30pm
Description: The Lake Ridge Chorale is a performance-oriented and service-based community singing group that endeavors, through its presence and visibility in Prince William County, to enhance the County’s image throughout Northern Virginia, the entire National Capital Region and beyond. They aspire to provide their members and audiences with a rewarding and enjoyable experience through seasonal concerts. Lake Ridge Chorale aims to provide support for charitable organizations local to Northern Virginia.

Garden Club of Lake Ridge
Date & Time: 1st Mondays monthly, September - June, 7:00pm
Description: Our motto, "Come Grow with Us", highlights the focus of our club. We seek to grow as gardeners through educational programs and activities, as better stewards of our environment, and as solid contributors to our community. During our monthly meetings, we have speakers on a variety of topics of interest, do hands-on projects, as well as share ideas and camaraderie. Our members work on community projects and enjoy trips to area gardens. We welcome anyone who has an interest in gardening, whether novice or experienced. There is a $30 annual membership fee.

Jazzercise
Date & Time: Saturdays, 8:30am
Description: The original dance-aerobics exercise phenomenon! Each 60-70 minute class offers a blend of jazz dance and exercise science set to your favorite music-- top 40, country and funk to name a few! Choreography includes a warm-up, 30-35 minutes of aerobics, muscle-toning, a strengthening segment with weights and a stretch finale. Circuit training by Jazzercise intermingles aerobics and strength training with weights and resistance.

Membership Meetings

Description: Lake Ridge Moms Club is a group of moms, run by moms, coming together to help each other and their community. Includes field trips, babysitting co-op, Mommy Meals (when someone is sick), community service projects and Mom’s Night Out!

Toastmasters
Date & Time: Wednesdays, 7:30pm
Description: Lake Ridge Toastmasters (LRTM) has helped area residents build their communication and leadership skills for over 26 years. LRTM provides a supportive learn-by-doing environment that allows its members to achieve their goals at their own pace. It is dedicated to helping its members become confident speakers and strong leaders in every area of their lives.

Woodbridge Wireless
Date & Time: 3rd Thursday monthly, 7:30pm
Description: Woodbridge Wireless Amateur Radio Club (WWI) is a public organization dedicated to promoting amateur radio and educating the public. Members’ interests run the gamut of amateur radio endeavors: DX, contests, emergency communications, satellite communications, packet, education, amateur TV and repeaters to name a few. From a modest beginning of about 30 members, WWI has grown to over 200 members. The club actively participates in local functions by providing communications for various foot races, crew races and parades, and hosts their largest club activity, Field Day, during the last full weekend of June.
