Rain Out Information
Rain-Out Line: (703) 389-5336
Soccer: Updated 1x Saturdays by 8:00am
When rain is in the forecast, the Rain-Out Line is your best tool to check whether sports are running. With safety, fairness and field preservation as our priorities, we do our best to play as much as we can unless there is a high percentage through the day or fields are saturated from rain the day prior. If the Rain-Out Line states sports are running for the day and a storm unexpectedly moves in, officials will make the call. Save the number in your phone to reference for both sports and swim lessons.
Make-Up: While rained out practices are not made up, an additional date for a rained out a game is included in your season schedule if needed.
For more information, email or call the Recreation Department at (703) 491-2154.
