Program
2 Day Explorers | 3 yrs.
The Explorers class is designed for children who are at least 3 years old, completely toilet trained and ready to explore a classroom environment 2 days a week. They meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15am-1:30pm and are made up of 24 students.
Students are introduced to activities including counting, familiarity with the alphabet, identifying their names, fine motor skills like cutting and gluing, circle time and organized play.
3 Day + 5 Day Pre-K | 4 yrs.
The 3 Day class is designed for children who are at least 4 years old, completely toilet trained, and looking to slowly ease into kindergarten the following year with a 3 day a week schedule. They meet Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 9:15am – 1:30pm and are made up of 24 students.
The 5 Day class holds the same requirements as the 3 Day, but meets Monday – Friday from 9:45am – 2:00pm and is made up of 21 students. This program is the best way to fully prepare your child for the kindergarten schedule as it gives them consistent, daily exposure to learning.
As part of the early literacy program, students concentrate on writing their first and last names, identifying letters and counting during everyday activities. Each day includes creative activities that emphasize fine and gross motor skills. The children perform a winter program in January for friends and family, and the school year culminates with a cap and gown graduation held in June.
