Only a few days left to submit your application to serve on the LRPRA Board of Directors! The Board of Directors is composed of nine volunteers who are elected to serve a three-year term. If you have a desire to serve your community, we encourage you to fill out the candidate application. See the election timeline for more information. Don't wait-- application will close at 5:00pm next Friday, November 4!

Recreation Highlights: Trunk or Treat & Holiday Activity Registration
Trunk or Treat at Office Parking Lot: Come out this Saturday, October 29 for a fun Trunk or Treat hosted by the Lake Ridge Moms Club! Collect some candy and come in your best costume. This event is from 3:00-5:00pm at 12350 Oakwood Drive and is open to all, so bring your friends! Learn more about the Moms Club here.
Visit with Santa & Letters from Santa: Sign-up opens on Tuesday, November 1 for our holiday activities! Grab a family time slot with Mr. & Mrs. Claus on December 3 and submit your requests for personalized letters from Santa to your loved ones through December 9. A discount is applied for those who register during the month of November, so register early!

County News: Prescription Drug Take Back Day
This Saturday, October 29 from 10:00am - 2:00pm, The Prince William County Police Department will join with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and community groups to provide you with a safe and legal way to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications.
