One More Week to Request a Letter from Santa

Send a personalized letter from Santa to the special people in your life! This becomes a magical tradition to keep up each year as parents, grandparents and friends get to see the surprised faces of those hearing directly from Santa who knows them so well. Submit your request (1 per child) with personal details in November for the early price of $7 per letter.
To Register: Submit the Letters from Santa Registration Form to recreation@lakeridgeva.com and call (703) 491-2154 to make payment, or drop off a check in the Association Office drop box. Submit by December 9 to ensure delivery by December 25.
Spread Holiday Cheer Donating to Toys for Tots
Toys for Tots Drop-off Ends: December 16 | Warm Donation Drop-off Ends: January 31
It is such a joy to see you, the Lake Ridge community, overflow our lobby each year with toys and warm donations for those in need! New, unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots program will be accepted until December 16 and hats, scarves and gloves for the Hilda Barg Homeless Prevention Shelter until January 31. All donations can be dropped off in the LRPRA Office lobby between 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
Nominate Your Favorite House for the Lights Contest
Nominations: November 1 - December 16 (9am) | Voting: December 16 - 21 (12pm)
It's time to get into the holiday spirit in your neighborhood! Decorate your house exterior and yard in the most festive and creative manner or nominate your favorite home in the neighborhood to share the best houses to drive by. Winners with the most "liked" photos on social media receive a fun little prize delivered to their door. To nominate (your home or a favorite), email a clear landscape photo with the address to recreation@lakeridgeva.com!
Nominations will be accepted until December 16 (9:00am), and photos of those in the running will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram page by noon to begin sharing! Voting will be open through December 21 (12:00pm), and winners will be announced on social media by the end of the day!
Clubs & Classes: Lake Ridge Chorale Concert
Our Lake Ridge Chorale will be performing their free "Songs of the Season" concert at 3 different locations in December, to include River Mill Park in Occoquan, Westminster at Lake Ridge, and Bethel United Methodist Church in Woodbridge. See dates and times on their performance flyer and enjoy some festive music to bring in the holiday spirit!
Preschool Snapshot: Fall Outdoor Play
Fall is the perfect season for outdoor imagination! Time on the playground is an important part of our day at Lake Ridge Creative Preschool. Students can build friendships, foster their sense of exploration and exercise their bodies, expressing their plentiful 3-4 year old energy! Employees in the Lake Ridge Office next store often joke about the symphony of happy screeches the preschoolers perform as they engage in play together each afternoon.
