County News: Real Estate Field Checks in April
The Real Estate Assessments Office is responsible for annually assessing all real property in Prince William County. Because Virginia law requires that all property be assessed at its fair market value, accurate physical descriptions are essential to establish fair market value. Section 58.1-3280 of the Code of Virginia authorize locality appraisers to make a physical examination of real property in all cases where the appraiser deems it advisable.
Starting in April, appraisers will be conducting their physical examination of Lake Ridge properties. Appraisers will be wearing County issued identification and will leave a yellow card at the door. This is a routine exercise. If you have any questions, please contact the Real Estate Assessments Office at (703) 792-6780.

County News: Dumpster Days
2023 Dumpster Day Schedule: Dumpster Days are facilitated by PWC Department of Public Works Neighborhood Services & Solid Waste Divisions. The events are open for use by all County citizens. Volunteers can participate in area litter pickups or simply utilize the free County dumpster to remove clutter and debris from their yards or other areas around their home or in their neighborhoods. The following link has the full schedule for locations throughout the county.
